IVEDITOR uses third-party software components and models. Their rights holders retain the rights to their work. These components are provided under their respective licenses.
IVEDITOR’s proprietary code is distributed under the IVEDITOR End User License Agreement. It does not replace or restrict the rights granted by the licenses of third-party components.
Materials for the first release are being prepared
The Windows and macOS archives below are preliminary PREPARATION packages dated October 6, 2026, not complete Corresponding Source for the installers. The packages target different platforms and are not interchangeable.
COMPONENTS
Multimedia
IVEDITOR uses libraries from the FFmpeg project. The Windows package uses dynamic libraries under GNU LGPL version 3 or later and separate FFmpeg/ffprobe command-line tools under GNU GPL version 3 or later. The components and terms for each released platform are listed in its component registry. Third-party libraries embedded in these tools are listed in the corresponding license and source package.
IVEDITOR uses Qt modules and their third-party dependencies. The applicable terms, including GNU LGPL version 3 for the Qt libraries used and separate terms for embedded components, are provided in the license package for the corresponding release.
Blackmagic RAW support uses components of the Blackmagic RAW SDK. They are subject to Blackmagic Design’s terms and the SDK’s third-party notices. They do not become open-source software by being included in IVEDITOR.
Depending on the installed components, IVEDITOR may use Python, PyTorch, OpenCV, Whisper, DeepFilterNet, EfficientTAM, Video Depth Anything, YuNet, SFace, Beat This!, Node.js, Chromium and HyperFrames, as well as their dependencies. Exact versions, copyright notices and licenses are listed in the registry and document package for the corresponding release. This is an overview, not a replacement for the complete registry.
LICENSES AND SOURCE CODE
For each published release, this section provides:
the IVEDITOR version number and platform;
a registry of third-party components;
license texts and required notices;
the corresponding source code of components where required by their distribution terms, including necessary modifications and build materials;
SHA-256 checksums for downloadable files.
Third-party source code does not include IVEDITOR’s proprietary closed-source code, user projects or media files. A component’s presence in the registry does not mean the entire product is distributed under that component’s license.

macOS Apple Silicon supplement
IVEDITOR 3.46.1 for macOS Apple Silicon. Snapshot dated October 6, 2026, commit 000b27584c7d4fd15e340b5d429f31dec991249b.
Status: PREPARATION. These are preliminary materials, not complete Corresponding Source for the distributed build. The package requires additional materials before distribution.
The editor uses dynamic Qt 6.11.3 and FFmpeg 8.1.3 libraries. The verified editor FFmpeg libraries and Qt’s FFmpeg 7.1.5 report LGPL 2.1+. The selected Qt modules are subject to LGPLv3, with separate terms for embedded components. The separate command-line FFmpeg includes x264/x265 and LAME, contains GPL components, and is not a library of the proprietary engine.
Additional features use OpenCV, CPython and Python packages, Whisper, DeepFilterNet, Beat This!, EfficientTAM, Video Depth Anything, YuNet/SFace, Node.js, Chromium and npm/HyperFrames. Code, embedded libraries and models may have different licenses. Full texts and rights holders are listed in notices; actual versions, hashes and completeness limitations are recorded in manifest.json. Blackmagic RAW is used under separate Blackmagic Design terms.
Rights granted by third-party component licenses are preserved; the IVEDITOR agreement must not restrict them. For LGPL components, the ability to replace libraries and perform the debugging required for that purpose must be preserved. This text does not replace the original licenses and model terms.
Apple ProRes support is implemented by the independent FFmpeg project. It is not authorized or certified by Apple; Apple has not confirmed the compatibility, stability or quality of this implementation in IVEDITOR. The final pre-payment notice is subject to separate review.
RIGHTS IN THIRD-PARTY COMPONENTS
The rights to use, study, modify and distribute third-party components are governed by their licenses. The provisions of the IVEDITOR End User License Agreement must not be interpreted as restricting those rights. In particular, applicable rights to replace LGPL libraries and to reverse-engineer for debugging modifications to those libraries are preserved. Information on replacing libraries is provided with the corresponding release.
The name of a project or rights holder is used to identify the origin of a component. It does not imply endorsement of IVEDITOR by that rights holder.
APPLE PRORES SUPPORT
Apple ProRes format support in IVEDITOR is implemented using the independent FFmpeg project. This implementation is not authorized or certified by Apple. Its compatibility, stability and quality of operation within IVEDITOR have not been confirmed by Apple. Processing errors and incompatibility with other software or devices may occur during use.
This notice does not restrict rights that cannot be restricted under applicable law or rights under the licenses of third-party components.
